The Council will recall the controversy surrounding the new DISCOVERY's
launch and its new mission focus - all this was a negative way for a new
crew to begin their new careers, but in true Trek tradition, they rallied
together and, with the DISCOVERY's first mission, delivered one of the
finest story arcs I have ever had the pleasure of participating in as
a member of the FRPG. It was a vein that they continued all through the
year - whenever one player would complain via NRPG of losing interest
or having writer's block, there would invariably follow a veritable flood
of new posts placing that character in situations designed to prompt a
