A recent complaint filed with the JAG Office began an investigation into the goings on of the USS CENTURY, it's Captain, Executive Officer and several members of the crew. While the full extent of this investigation is confidential. One outcome was unavoidable, as it had been building for some time. Nigel Houlden has asked to step down as CO of the USS CENTURY. During the course of the investigation it was determined that a new CO would be needed to comabat the problems with the above mentioned crew members. Moreover, this CO should be an current CO who would be transferred to the CENTURY. (That means not adding another character to his/her RPG duties.) 3 players offered their services. Francois Charette, Lisa Charette and David Wells. To minimize the disruption to the game David was decided on because he had no other characters that would have to be dropped (or temporarily set aside) and he had no other RPG duties that would require a great deal of attention. That is, it wouldn't add any additional stress to his current duty load. Of course, if David is assigned as CO of the CENTURY, that will leave a void in the center seat of GATEWAY. It is also recommmended, at least for the short term, that Britt Larsen be assigned as temporary CO of GATEWAY. She has a proven track record and has done well when handling missions of her creation.
