Adjustment of the Stardate to reflect time zone differences. There are two possible solutions for this. Please vote on them individually. Only vote for one or the other, or neither. **Note: For either of these to work, COs must let their crews know Stardates are to reflect the time they *send* their posts. It should be the last thing filled out before hitting the send button.** 0127A Votes: Outcome: Failed/Closed 0127B Votes: Outcome: Failed/Closed 0127C Votes: Outcome: Failed/Closed Notes: No revision to the Stardate will be made. Use of the stardate will remain as currently specified. Due to some unclear wording Resolution 0127 was later revisited: Res0127: Stadate revision Vote are for either Option A *or* B. ***** That the Stardate, located in "The Big Three", at the start of a post, be used to indicate the time at which that post was *started* by the player, using that player's local time. This option follows the way ACT presently teaches Cadets on how to use the Stardate. ***** That the Stardate, located in "The Big Three", at the start of a post, be used to indicate the time at which that post was *sent* by the player, using that player's local time. Votes: Outcome: Option A has passed. Res0127 is closed. Any further appeals or ammendments will have to be submitted as a resolution in accordance with the rules of this Council. Note: COs, please make your crews aware of this "change", even if it is the way they are alraedy doing it, this will serve to set it in writing for future reference. |
