Resolution 0115: Amendment - Res 0055

b. Description of problem:
Resolution 0055, Section IV. P) 2) a. 2) states: "All AC, EXOs, and ACT Council members will receive only the initial resolution, and the final form of the resolution prior to a call for vote."
I feel there is a flaw in this section, insofar as AC, ExOs and ACT council members will not know the outcome of a vote for any given resolution. Since they are encouraged to send comments regarding each resolution to their respective MC representative, I think it would only be fair and logical for them to be informed of the vote's outcome as well.
The same goes for Section IV. P) 2) b. 2) with MC and AC vice versa.

c. Solution, or resolution proposed to solve problem:
The section should be amended to read: "All AC, EXOs, and ACT Council members will receive the initial resolution, and the final form of the resolution including the voting results."
The same goes for Section IV. P) 2) b. 2) with MC and AC vice versa.

d. Pro's and con's in the creator's opinion:
Pro: Getting "the full picture" on any given resolution (i.e. not just knowing what was discussed but also *with what result* it was being discussed), which would be especially important on controversial issues where the outcome isn't more or less clear from the outset; better flow of information (regarding council resolutions and decisions) throughout the game.
Con: Yet more mail, but I think this increase would be tolerable

e. CO's Comments:
I thoroughly agree with Laura on this issue. I feel this was something we simply overlooked when completing the Res0055. Considering the magnitude of that resolution there will no doubt be other amendments to arise as we continue to move forward in the new forum.
