Resolution 0069: Satellite Website Layout Standardization

Drafter: Stefan Palan, USS SUTTNER

It is proposed that the designers of the various FRPG satellite websites (the PATRIOT-A site, the SUTTNER site, etc.) are asked to develop a common design structure so that all satellite sites can easily be recognized as belonging to the FRPG.

Pros:
1) Having the ships' sites all in different layouts looks unprofessional.
2) One common system for manoeuvering through the sites makes it easier for visitors to find their way.

Cons:
1) It stifles creativity.
2) There could be serious disagreement on what content should be required on each site.

Clarification:
A few weeks ago we had a conversation among the website designers about standardizing the websites' layout. No conclusion was reached, even though most people could agree that *if* there was to be one standardized layout for the sites, it should resemble the FRPG
site's. Since the website designers are waiting for an answer to this question and some ships want to build new sites, I think it's important that we decide on their look before they are being created.
