I would like to establish a group of three of four players to come up with an *active* *RPGing* ship that is *not* Starfleet. Whether it be Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian it is not an immediate concern. This group would come up with the race, guidelines and spec sheets for the ship, based on the info in the Intel section of the webpages. (Those books you got just made you a prime candidate for leader of the group ;) I think the Chiefs of Ops, Engineering, Intel and Science should be on this team for these reasons: Ops: People person. Finds the people to put on the ship. Eng: Knows the form for the Ship's books and stuff. Intel: Has the specs for alien ship and stuff. Sci: Has a little bit of info on the races and would just like to see the idea take shape. <G> Once the ship is laid out, in full -- that is to say all we have left to do is put a crew on her -- and her "standing orders" are confirmed, we could open up a training class just for that ship, *using* the ship. Immediately after this message I will start a message for opening remarks for the council to send out after you make the proposal official. Let me just say I have *no* idea on any race/ship in mind, just the idea in general of having a ship. AMENDMENT: This Resolution does not mandate the formation of the RP Unit at present time. |
